Acta Pediátrica de México (APM) (ISSN: 0186-2391)  has been published punctually and uninterruptedly since 1980 and is the Official Organ of the National Institute of Pediatrics. It is a bimonthly publication whose fundamental purpose is the dissemination of scientific evidence and information generated as a product of original basic, clinical, epidemiological and social research in the field of pediatrics, which allows generating and improving health care models during childhood and adolescence.

Acta Pediátrica de México (APM) is a peer-reviewed journal that advances the perinatology, pediatric research and serves as a practical guide for pediatricians who manage health and diagnose and treat disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. The Journal seeks to publish original articles, review articles, editorials, letters to the editor, short communication, clinical and laboratory case reports on the topics related to pediatrics, perinatology and child health.

Acta Pediátrica de México (APM) focuses on the issues related to the health and health care of children from the stage of Perinatology to adolescents.
