Abstract

The calcium content of 447 pieces of milk at different lactation stages was measured, and 35 cases of lactating mothers were simultaneously measured for blood calcium, alkaline phosphatase and urinary calcium. It was found that colostrum (7.37mmol/L), transitional milk The calcium content of breast milk (7.60mmol/L) is significantly lower than that of 35-60-day mature milk (8.34mmol/L) (P<0.05). The calcium content of breast milk in winter is significantly lower than that of spring, summer and autumn (all P values<0.05) ; Based on the reference range of 95% on one side, 7.0mmol/L is recommended as the lower limit of breast milk calcium content, and it was found that 71.4% of lactating mothers were lower than this value and had calcium deficiency. It is suggested that quantitative measurement of breast milk calcium can be used to calculate the baby's calcium content. Calcium intake can also help understand the calcium nutritional status of lactating mothers, which is the scientific basis for calcium supplementation for mothers and infants.
