Abstract

Moderate and severe malnutrition is one of the serious problems affecting the life and health of infants and young children. If it is complicated by infectious diseases, the mortality rate is very high. Studying the incidence factors and causes of death of malnutrition is the basis for reducing the incidence and mortality of malnutrition. This article analyzes the incidence of 91 cases of moderate and severe malnutrition admitted to the Department of Pediatrics in our hospital from February 1991 to December 1992, and conducts a paired control study with non-malnourished hospitalized children during the same period to explore the prevention and treatment of infant malnutrition. measures.
