Abstract

Clinical analysis of 120 cases of low birth weight infants showed that the incidence of neonatal asphyxia is high, the prognosis is serious, and the total mortality rate is 30.8%. The younger the gestational age, the higher the mortality rate. Common clinical symptoms are: hypothermia and scleredema, infection, respiratory disorders, and poor living ability, jaundice, convulsions, digestive disorders, etc. The immediate cause of death was pulmonary hemorrhage and respiratory failure. Reducing and preventing premature birth, intrauterine growth retardation and perinatal asphyxia, and actively and effectively dealing with the above clinical problems will reduce perinatal mortality and its sequelae.
